#obsessed: April Edition

#obsessed: April Edition

The concept of monthly favorites hasn’t always been enticing to me, but there’s no denying that it can be a nice way to reminisce about the highlights of your month, and at the end of the year it’s creates a lovely snapshot of your annual style and culture interests. So, with that in mind here’s what I was #obsessed with during the month of April.

Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid

I’m always looking for new and most importantly effective ways to update and/or upgrade my skincare routine. This lightweight glycolic acid moisturizer from Peter Thomas Roth has been great for my combination oily/dry, prone to breakouts skin. I’ve already noticed that my skin is smoother and softer after just a few weeks of use. I was looking to add a chemical exfoliant to my routine and found this one through my most trusted cosmetics source, The Beautypedia.

Butter Baker

I’ve been a fan of Toronto bakery Butter Avenue for quite a few years now, so when I discovered their recently opened sister bakery, Butter Baker, I was enthusiastic to say the least. They have a seemingly endless array of delicious croissants, danishes, cakes and more on offer. My favorites so far are the Strawberry Matcha danish and the Almond Walnut croissant, although I still have yet to try their signature Lemon Meringue croissant.

J. Crew Denim Shirt

I was on the hunt for a heavier weight denim shirt and this men’s one from J. Crew has been perfect. The slightly oversized menswear shape is great with leggings and miniskirts alike and the medium washed denim is pretty much a neutral. It literally goes with everything!

Condé Nast Traveler Podcasts

I’ve been a casual reader of Condé Nast Traveler for sometime now, but only just recently discovered their podcasts. A couple standouts were the Women Who Travel episode on solo travel and the multiple Travelogue episodes about trips to and through Asia, since I’m hoping to finally make my way there sometime soon.

COS Grey Cashmere Scarf

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a scarf. This super soft cashmere knit version from COS was on sale (50% off!), and is slightly smaller than most of my other scarves, making it the perfect choice for the impending transitional weather.
